ok... I just got my MFD diode fix for ps2 v12.... i moded with the DMS4
Lite with the Toxic firmware.... i could play backed up games within the
first 3 days.... and than it stoped runing and it was only runing original
ps2 games... with the diode fix it ran very smooth... thanks I'm a very

I needed to tell you that I have successfully installed the DMS4 Lite and it
is everything it is advertised to be.
I have not soldered anything for almost 20 years and had to go out to buy a
soldering iron, and a small kit to practice on, to do the install. Whilst I
was a bundle of nerves during the installation I found the instructions very
straight forward and extremely easy. It really was a simple installation. I
could not believe it when it started up correctly the first time.
You have one happy customer, and have made the kids of the customer very
happy too! I would be happy to recommend the DMS4 Lite to anyone thinking of
modding their PS2.

lines. Had read else where that the length of the wire is important. The
R wire tip has got me going though.

Yes, it definitely was an installation problem. When I closed the machine up after the check before my previous email to you several of the wires had inadvertently moved to an area near one of the case screw holes. When the screw had been tightened this severed the wires. Wires have been replaced - and more carefully routed - and now everything works fine.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your assistance with the installation. I have been thoroughly impressed with my experience dealing with mod-chip.com - your service is outstanding, and the product is terrific. I will definitely be making further purchases in the future.

Received the Swap Magic and I'm very impressed!
Finally, I can run my emergency backup copy of Final Fantasy X, after
wearing out the original. The folks at Sony don't realize that we play
their games for thousands of hours and the disks do indeed become
unreadable; especially when throwing the disk at a wall, after loosing a
two hour fight against a major boss. Skips, lock-ups, and picking up
pieces off the floor.
