How do I find out what firmware version my PS3 is?
Look under “System Information” and it says your System Software Version
If you have firmware 3.42 - 3.55 you will need either the Amazebreak
or ecliPS3 USB plug. There is no mod-chip for firmware 3.56 and higher.
